Our hearts are heavy with sadness due to our good friend Jamie Campbell's passing. In honor of his memory, we will be hosting a fundraiser during our annual car show. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to his surviving wife, Stephanie and young daughter McKenzie.
Jamie will forever be racing into the sunset with us.
In honor of Fatherβs Day and our annual Fatherβs Day Car Show we are dedicating this upcoming event and merchandise tee to our dear friend. Jamie was a true supporter of Cactus Land since day one. Jamie planned to attend the Fatherβs Day Car Show with his late model racecar in the Specialty Category, in hopes of winning first place 2 years in a row.
On November 11, 1986, in San Antonio, Texas, Jamie Campbell made it his mark to fix things on this earth. From an early age, he showed an affinity and interest in all things mechanical. He could look at something and know exactly what to do, and, if not, would find out how to complete any job. Jamie was taken from us too soon at age 37 on Sunday, May 26, 2024 -- God must have needed a person like Jamie in heaven! To all who knew him,
Jamie was passionate, dedicated, and hardworking. Of course he had a passion for anything in the racing world, but his dedication to his family was one-of-a-kind! He loved them so much he was adamant about their safety. Stephanie was his best friend, his soul mate, his everything. He adored his 'Little Peanut', McKenzie; she would shadow him whenever she could and wherever he went (future mechanic in the making). And, nearly 16 years ago he took the reins of the family business, working hard to manage all aspects at A Plus Boat Services; he was known by his precision as one of the better mechanics around!
